Biography
Ilavarasan Tamilarasan is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Senior) in the School of Electronics Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India. He received his B.E. degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, M.Tech degree in Laser & Electro Optical Engineering and Ph.D in Fiber Optic Communication from Anna University, Chennai, in 2009, 2011 and 2017 respectively. He received Anna Centenary Research Fellowship in 2014 and works on Optical OFDM system development, Fiber impairment mitigation techniques at the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, India. He is a reviewer and technical editor of peer review journals relating to optical communication and networks. His research interests include nonlinear optics, Optical OFDM and FSO systems.
