Biography
I have been a research scientist at Center for Signal Processing and Communications, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Concordia University since 2001, where I became an Affiliate Associate Professor in 2011. I investigated on signal processing, wireless communications, and softcomputing. In 2014, I founded Xonlink Inc in Ningbo, China, where we work on Internet of things and big data. From 2011 to 2014, I was chief scientist and vice president at Enjoyor Inc, where we focused on intelligent solutions for smart cities, including video-based surveilance monitoring and intelligent transportation systems.
Research Interest
Currently my areas of interest are Signal processing for wireless communications, general signal processing. Wireless communication systems, RF and microwave systems, antennas. Machine Learning, metaheuristics, pattern recognition, intelligent systems, big data. Wireless sensor networks and Internet of things.
